Hi Everybody,
Thanks to some nice weather last Saturday, we had a great turnout for our first ride of February. 19 members came out and enjoyed a nice ride on some backroads out to Abbotsford. We received a surprise invitation from Amarjit while out riding to stop in for a bite to eat at an event he was working with – the grand opening of the Nanak Guru food bank in Abbotsford. 15 of us enjoyed their hospitality and learned a bit of what the food bank does. We then headed out on several separate ways. Patrick led the main group on a ride down 0 Avenue. I am sure everyone enjoyed the day.

Next Saturday, February 19th, is our monthly breakfast meeting at the ABC Restaurant on Schoolhouse Rd in Coquitlam. Breakfast is at 9:00 with a short meeting to follow, and maybe a ride if the weather is good.
Just a reminder that every Saturday and Sunday morning, members meet for coffee and a ride at the Tim Hortons / A&W on Glenlyon Parkway in South Burnaby. With the longer daylight hours starting, some are meeting for coffee on Tuesday evenings as well.
