Hi Everybody,
The results are in after we had over 20 submissions for the Doodle Poll. Thank you to all for your participation. A majority of the members who answered chose the Annacis Island location by over 2 to 1. To be fair to the members who just cannot make it there on Tuesday evenings but still want to ride, we decided that there will be two locations and as Chapter Directors, we will rotate between them when we can make it out.
Location 1 will be at the Annacis Island Wendy’s/Tim Hortons between 6 and 7:00PM every Tuesday. Location 2 will be at the McDonalds on Lougheed and Boundary, also between 6:00 and 7:00PM on Tuesdays. Take your pick, there will be members at both, eager to socialize and go for a ride, weather permitting.
On Sunday, I will be participating in the “Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride” fundraiser for prostate cancer. This year’s ride is a solo ride because of local COVID restrictions. I have chosen to ride out to the Manning Park Overlook on Hwy 3 past Hope. This is as far as we are allowed to ride within our health district. Several other members will be joining me. If you would like to participate, be at the McDonalds on Boundary and Lougheed in your most “Distinguished” attire, with a full tank and ready to ride by 9:00AM. I will be picking up some Chapter C members at the Chevron by the Dairy Queen in Hope around 10:30.

On Monday, Ian and Patrick are planning a ride to visit our past Chapter Director, Keiller Gowans, who is battling cancer. More details will come in another email once plans are finalized.
